The first meeting of the EnFAIT project consortium took place on 20 July 2017 in Edinburgh, Scotland with all nine consortium project partners from across Europe present. This gave the project team members the opportunity to re-confirm the project baseline and expectations, further detail and plan the initial work package activities, and start to build the key working relationships that will be required for delivering a successful, major collaborative project.  Simon Forrest, the CEO of Nova Innovation and the Project Director for EnFAIT, highlighted that a strong team of European organisations had been brought together in this consortium project with a clear mission and focus ahead, to successfully deliver and meet the cost reduction challenge over the next five years – the EnFAIT project needs to be ‘bankable’.
