Paris was the venue for the fourth EnFAIT consortium meeting, and also for a Detailed Design Review.

Hosted by Wood, the particular focus was on design details such as:

• Project requirements
• Array architecture
• Onshore works
• Subsea hub and cables
• Turbine design
• Deployment and recovery
• Cost modelling

The Consortium discuss all the design elements to ensure there is a common understanding and agreement among the partners to enable the project to progress towards preparing for the procurement and build of turbine T4. It’s all systems go! Many thanks to all Consortium partners – there has been tremendous input to get to this stage, demonstrating the strong collaborative nature of the project.
